I actually had a customer tell me once that he’s pour a small 96 ml bottle of two-stroke oil into his gas at every fill up, and apparently he’s never had to replace his apex seals. So... maybe it is helpful?

That’s my guess. Pretty common practice on FCs to remove the oil metering pump and run two stroke oil in the gas tank. Did it on mine after the pump clogged and blew the motor. Works great! Spark plugs last a lot longer, 2 stroke oil burns much cleaner than engine oil, and the engine stops consuming. Just don’t forget to add oil to the gas tank when you fill up or it will throw an apex seal.
